VSPSmotorsports began in 1988 with an idea.

In 2006 the team started to jell into a competitive team.

 

We added the expertise of Curtis Paynter as our Crew Chief, and Driver. In addition we picked up Will Warman as a Lead Mechanic and Driver.

 

In 2007 We added a Chassis man known as hillbilly. His real name is Tony Mateson., and Ron Aston as an additional ace in the hole mechanic.

 

These additions add up to 50+ Gold ASE Certificates in our shop.

 

We are proud members of Team Firebird,

and the NHRA family.

 

Our Team believes in Torco Fuels (Methanol and Racing Fuels) and all of the Torco Products. Torco has 100% of our teams backing.

 

In addition our team believes in Hydrotex Lubricants and all of the Hydrotex product lines.

 

Our race team relies on the expertise of Keith at

AZ Dyno Chip to set up our cars.

 

And we definitely could not complete our work in the hot Arizona sun without our favorite PitMat.
